In OSRS that time would be spent traveling somewhere, just to have to log off and hope the next time I cheap osrs gold log in I can remember what I traveled for. Also, these rewards are OPTIONAL. If you don’t need the weapon and armor boost, don’t take it. Take something that will be useful to you. Don’t want the game to be easier? Don’t use that method that makes it easier.

I got limited understanding of orbital mechanics, courtesy of kerbal space program and other space sims. But from what I could understand, there quite a few downsides to a hypothetical space elevator:Same goes for docking with said tip of the elevator. Hypothetical ship would need to slow down from orbital velocity to the surface velocity of earth in order to be able to exchange personel/cargo. That burn an insane amount of fuel.
To remove the both issues above, the elevator would need to be built somewhere near the geo synchronous orbit, if I not wrong. That high. The danger of being hit by orbital junk grows so much, I don think it a viable option, is it? Ignoring the material cost.Even if the elevator was built how would it support its own weight? That be extremely heavy structure,
completely reliant on the ground/material support of its own construction. Now, if you want to dock anything to it, that mean it also needs to support the weight of the spacecraft itself (which isn that bad, I suppose, if the construction is supposed to be so tall and able to withstand bad weather, etc). I know there is a lot of speculation about new, lightweight and resistant materials,
but I believe we yet to see any proper industrial implementation of said materials on big scale. Ignoring the issue of weather/natural disasters, like earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.How would it be built? Up until few kilometers up it fairly easy, we already have 1km tall constructions on the earth. But what about the part at 50km altitude? 150km?

I love for someone to answer those questions in serious tone. Because with all due respect, but space elevators might work, but only far in the future, or in non newtonian space universums (Star Wars, EVE, etc)Are You Surprised by the Arrival of The Kebos Lowlands?
